科技和艺术一直是相对独立的两个学科,思维方式的不同导致很难相互融合。但科技的本身是服务于生活,而艺术又源于生活。当下我们所谈及人工智能与智能制造,在新兴科技高速发展的今天,通过对算法及数字化的研究,我们尝试去构建起两者之间的桥梁。
本次工作坊邀请了南加州建筑学院SCI-Arc机械臂实验室负责人Curime Severin Batliner和Metasonar音乐厂牌艺术家Yuening Cai。通过对于声音与相关的机械装置联动创造出声音和光交互的艺术形态,在不一样的学科交叉碰撞下带给我们一个全新的机械臂交互工作坊。
Technology and art are two independent subjects. It is difficult to integrate because of the two system. But, essentially, the technology serves our life, and art comes from the life. With the rapid development of AI and intelligent manufacturing, we are trying to build a bridge between the two by research on algorithms and digitization.
This workshop invites Curime Severin Batliner, Principal of the SCI-Arc Robot House, and Yuening Cai, an artist of Metasonar. We use the robotic arm and mechanical devices to interact with SOUNDand LIGHT, which will be a new performance workshop with interdisciplinary cooperation.

Curime Severin BatlinerCurime Severin Batliner works as a lecturer at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCIArc). He coordinates and leads the robotics innitiative and intensively explores the interfaces between automation, space and nature. He also practices entwines teaching, research as well commercial and cultural projects.

郑康奕 Kangyi Zheng毕业于宾夕法尼亚大学,伦敦AA学院访问学者。同济大学设计创意学院创意工场数字化设计与制造负责人,声音实验室专业老师。他关注于建筑与环境,数字化设计与制造以及声音可视化与交互等跨学科领域的研究,其作品参展于纽约设计周,中国室内设计周等。Graduated from University of Pennsylvania, Architectural Associations Visitor. Faculty of digital fabrication at Tongji University D&I college, SoundLab Lecturer. He works on Architecture and Environment, computational design and digital fabrication, sound visualization and interaction etc. interdisciplinary research, and his works exhibited on NewYork Design and China Interior Design week.

张彤 Zhang Tong张彤毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚大学建筑系,就读期间交换于AA建筑联盟。毕业之后就职于建筑电讯派(Archigram)创始人之一的Sir Peter Cook的Crab 工作室,2018年工作于日本Junya Ishigami + Associates(石上纯也)工作室。现在国内从事交互设计实践。
Zhang Tong graduated from the Department of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, and exchanged with the AA Construction Alliance during her studies. After graduation, she worked at Crab Studio of Sir Peter Cook, one of the founders of the architectural telecommunications school (Archigram), and worked in the studio of Junya Ishigami + Associates (Shisaka Junya) in Japan in 2018. Nowadays, she is engaged in interactive design practice in China.

滕腾是一名设计技术研究员,康奈尔大学博士研究,也是一位经验丰富的设计师。他的主要研究方向集中于人机交互,运算化设计和机器人技术的交叉领域。他的研究专注于解决在设计中出现的人机交互问题,尤其体现在为设计师提供具有更直观交互方式的设计和制造工具。他的相关学术论文已在北美,欧洲和亚洲广泛发表。
Teng Teng is a design technology researcher, doctoral research at Cornell University, as well as an experienced designer. His primary research interests reside in the intersected realms of Human-Computer Interaction, Computational Design, and Robotics. He is particularly interested in HCI issues in the design process, focusing on providing a more intuitive and instructive interaction between users and computational design and fabrication tools. His has been widely published related articles across North America, Europe, and Asia.

蔡悦宁,电子音乐人、艺术家。她通过对现象的思考与内化,将各种场景、情绪转化为声音表达。而在艺术创作中,她将这个思路延伸至更广泛的领域,并使用声音、影像、网络、文本等媒介,表达构成个人主体的基本欲望驱动在作为开放性机制的后现代社会中的处境。她现为同济-朱哲琴【声音x实验室】驻留艺术家。
Cai Yuening, an electronic musician and artist. Through the thinking and internalization of the phenomenon, she transforms various scenes and emotions into sound expressions. In art creation, she extends this idea to a wider range of fields and uses sound, video, internet, text and other media to express the basic desires that constitute the individual subject in a postmodern society as an open mechanism. She is currently an artist resident at the Tongji-Dadawa Sound Lab.
