简介:
A postdoctoral position is available in the Lemos lab (http://lemoslab.org/publications/) at Harvard University T. H. Chan School of Public Health. The ideal candidate would have a strong expertise in bioinformatics and keen interest in themes of genomics, epigenetics, DNA methylation analysis, nuclear architecture, and aging. The ideal candidate would be motivated to pursue computational analyses of genomic/epigenomic data and be inspired by the biology of human and model organism aging. 
Our laboratory is housed at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, located within a vibrant research community that also includes the Harvard Medical School and several affiliated hospitals. The school has significant strengths in biostatistics, computational biology, genomics, engineering, and experimental biology that will be within reach of the fellow. Candidates should be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate and support other team members. 
Requirements 
**Proficiency in one or more statistical or scripting languages, such as R, Python, and/or Perl, appropriate for scalable data analysis.
**Experience with DNA methylation analysis is a plus
Experience with genomics and/or epigenomics, as indicated by a publication record. *Ability to drive her/his own projects as well as collaborate and contribute to the development of projects of other lab members

【Bioinformatics Postdoc Position】
The Chen lab (https://openwetware.org/wiki/Chenlab) is seeking a highly self-motivated bioinformatics postdoc. The lab is in the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational affiliated with Houston Methodist Hospital and Cornell University Weill Cornell Medical College. Candidates are expected to have a PhD and extensive experiences with quantitative sciences, e.g., Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Bioinformatics, and related area. Research topics will be machine learning techniques to discover druggable driver genes for cell lineage specification and diseases such as cancer, or to develop bioinformatics tools for analysis of genomic, epigenomic, and transcriptome data, particularly single-cell sequencing and Hi-C data. We still have one more position, and hope the candidate can mainly work on bioinformatic methods development. 内梅亨大学招博士（信息来源：群友分享）简介：New PhD application about Stress and Cognition:Applications are invitedfor a PhD student position at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition andBehaviour at the Radboud University Nijmegen,the Netherlands.               Stress has a major impact on many different aspects of cognition. This ishighly critical for adaptation in an ever-changing environment but may alsoincrease vulnerability to psychopathology. Stressful and emotionallyarousing experiences are typically well conserved, leading to strong andlong-lasting memories. Much less is known, however,with regard to how stressful and emotional experiences also might affect thequality, i.e., the detailedness and accuracy, of such strengthened memories.The balance between the accuracy of a memory (i.e., remembering exactly whathappened where and when) and its generalization to distinct, but similarsituations is critical for guiding optimal behaviors. Withinthis theme, a PhD project is available that aims to dissect the neuralmechanisms by which stress alters memory accuracy and generalization in rodentmodels of learning and memory.
Experimental methods include：
-animal behavior/ -neuropharmacology/ -chemogenetics/ -fiber photometry/ -immunohistochemistryand Western blot analysis
You will work under the direct supervision of Prof. Benno Roozendaal and Dr.Marloes Henckens, and will be responsible for collecting, analyzing andreporting research data.  
Ideal candidate for this position has:
- a Master's degree in neuroscience or psychology or relevant field
- stronginterest for multidisciplinary research
- a good command of written and spoken English
- good communication skills
- the ambition to become an independent top-flight scientist
